Designing the medals for the Australian Swimming Championships has been one of our most rewarding projects. These medals are highly sought after by Australia's elite swimmers, who compete fiercely to qualify for international events like the Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Seeing world champions and record holders holding our medals with pride is an experience we’ll always cherish.

Solution

The medal design captures the strength, determination, and spirit of the Olympic motto—faster, higher, stronger. It also highlights inclusivity by featuring characters that represent both genders, able-bodied athletes, and para athletes. Inspired by the intricate structure of muscles, the design reflects the synergy between physical strength, swimming fluidity, and the precision of diving. Each medal also includes braille, ensuring accessibility for vision-impaired swimmers.

Outcome

The medals have been embraced by the swimming community as symbols of both individual achievement and collective inclusivity. They not only celebrate the success of elite athletes but also underscore the diversity and unity within the sport, embodying the values of Swimming Australia's national events.
